Specializing
in Syrah and Barbera wines that we call "sophisticated",
the Green Family Winery motto is "If it ain't red, it ain't
wine." Our small winery only churns out about 600 cases
- 7,200 bottles - each year.

9: I
have a solution to the Social Security mess. Just move everyones
money into the plan that Congress has. Did you know that not
everyone in America has to be in Social Security?! As far as
I know all civil servants (there is a misnomer if I ever saw
one!) and elected officals are exempt and in fact have VERY
GOOD plans. In California government employes have the PERS
plan which pays really great benefits. Their money is invested
in stocks, bonds & other things by a good investment advisor
and very closely monitored. Hey, it works!!
Q. If Social Security is so great, why don't they put all the
government peoples retirement money in it!
A. Because everyone in the government knows it is just a great
big slush fund for them to abuse, just like some people use
their credit cards!

11: I
hate complaining, but I also hate government & politicians
bungling nonsense. We should institute some sort of competence
test or IQ test before you can run for any elected office. Admittedly
some states would have a hard time getting up a full slate of
candidates! Is there a test for ethics? (one that works)
The entry requirements to work at McDonalds is stricter than
for the US Congress! I have lived in California for 19 years
this August and most of the politicians that represent the state
in Washington, I would not extend 30 credit to.
